As an Accounts Assistant (also known as a Finance Assistant or Accounts Clerk), you will play a key role
in supporting the finance function and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial information.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input and process sales invoices accurately using Sage Line 50
- Raise invoices in line with company procedures
- Carry out basic credit control, including chasing outstanding payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records
- Reconcile customer accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Assist with month-end processes and reporting
- Provide general support to the finance team
- Ensure compliance with company financial procedures and standards
Requirements:
- Essential: Experience using Sage Line 50 (Sage 50)
- Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant / Finance Assistant / Accounts Clerk role
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Understanding of invoicing and credit control processes
- Good communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
