As a Factory Operative, you will be responsible for supporting the manufacturing process, working accurately, and helping ensure products are assembled to a high standard. This role would also suit an Assembly Operative, Production Operative, Manufacturing Operative, Assembly Worker, or Workshop Operative.

Key duties

Your duties will include:

• Assembling units using hand tools
• Following basic instructions and production requirements
• Checking parts and components before assembly
• Working as part of a busy manufacturing team
• Maintaining a clean and safe working area
• Carrying out basic quality checks
• Supporting general factory and production duties when required

Required experience and skills

To be considered, you will need:

• Previous factory, production, assembly, or manufacturing experience
• Confidence using basic hand tools
• Good attention to detail
• Reliability and good timekeeping
• Ability to work Monday to Friday on day shifts
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• No formal qualifications or certifications are required
• Manual handling or health and safety awareness would be beneficial
