    About the Role

    We are currently recruiting for a Saw Operative to join a busy manufacturing environment. The role involves operating a Stuga saw machine to accurately cut uPVC materials used in the production of window and door frames.

    This is a hands-on production position suited to someone with experience working with machinery who can maintain high standards of accuracy, quality, and productivity.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Operating a Stuga saw machine to cut uPVC profiles to specification
    • Measuring and checking materials before and after cutting
    • Ensuring all cuts are precise and meet production requirements
    • Reading and working from technical drawings, order sheets, or cutting lists
    • Maintaining quality standards throughout the manufacturing process
    • Carrying out basic machine checks and reporting any faults or issues
    • Keeping the work area clean and compliant with Health & Safety standards
    • Supporting other areas of production when required

    Candidate Requirements

    • Previous experience operating saw machinery, ideally Stuga equipment
    • Experience within uPVC window or door manufacturing desirable
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Ability to work to production targets and deadlines
    • Reliable with excellent timekeeping
    • Good awareness of workplace Health & Safety
