The Role
As an HR Advisor, you will provide operational HR support across a variety of functions while working closely with the VP of HR, HR/Administrative Assistant and Site Director.
This position plays an important role in supporting employees and managers with day-to-day HR activities while ensuring policies, procedures and HR documentation are maintained accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers
- Assist with employee relations activities including documentation and follow-up
- Support recruitment coordination including interview scheduling and candidate communication
- Assist with onboarding processes and employee documentation
- Support leave of absence (LOA) procedures and termination processes
- Maintain HR files and employee records ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Draft HR letters and administrative documents
- Ensure HR systems and records are updated
- Provide guidance on HR policies in collaboration with the HR team and Site Director
- Support internal meetings and HR communications
- Provide occasional support with site and facilities coordination where required
Education
A degree in Human Resources, Administration, Law or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Experience & Skills Required
- Previous experience in HR support, HR administration or HR advisory roles
- Strong knowledge of HR practices including employee relations and absence management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work closely within an HR team
- High level of organisation, attention to detail and confidentiality
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
- Experience with ADP and Replicon systems would be advantageous
- Comfortable working on site and interacting with employees and managers
