UPVC Order Processor Job in Aldridge
Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting an experienced Order Processor for an established UPVC window and door manufacturing business in the Aldridge area of Walsall.
This role requires previous experience within the UPVC windows and doors industry. You will be responsible for processing customer orders accurately, checking technical specifications and ensuring that all information supplied to the manufacturing team is complete and correct.
Experience using First Degree Systems software would be advantageous. However, applicants with strong industry knowledge and experience using other window and door processing systems will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing orders for UPVC windows, doors and associated products
- Entering customer orders accurately onto the company’s processing system
- Checking measurements, specifications, colours, profiles and product configurations
- Confirming glass specifications, hardware, handles, locks and additional components
- Reviewing order details before releasing jobs to production
- Identifying missing or conflicting information and resolving queries promptly
- Producing accurate manufacturing paperwork and order documentation
- Amending existing orders when authorised changes are received
- Liaising with customers, sales staff, surveyors and the production team
- Providing updates regarding orders, lead times and manufacturing requirements
- Ensuring orders meet customer specifications and company quality standards
- Maintaining accurate electronic records and filing relevant documentation
- Supporting the wider administration and customer-service teams when required
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous order-processing experience within the UPVC window and door manufacturing industry is essential
- Strong knowledge of UPVC window and door products, profiles, glass and hardware
- Experience interpreting measurements, specifications and technical order information
- Experience using First Degree Systems would be advantageous
- Experience with alternative window and door processing software will also be considered
- Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
- Confident computer and data-entry skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple orders and changing priorities
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
