Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a heavy industry manufacturing environment in the Stafford area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with both electrical and mechanical experience. The role would suit someone who is confident working in a demanding production setting, responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance and helping keep machinery running safely and efficiently.

The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving plant machinery and equipment across a busy heavy industry site. You will work as part of the engineering team to reduce downtime, support production and ensure equipment is operating safely and reliably.

Duties Will Include

• Carrying out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery
• Responding quickly to breakdowns and machinery faults
• Working with hydraulics and pneumatics systems
• Completing planned preventative maintenance tasks
• Fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
• Working closely with production teams to minimise downtime

Skills and Experience Required

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
• Experience working within heavy industry is essential
• Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance knowledge
• Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics
• Ability to fault find and repair machinery in a fast-paced environment
• Confident working on both planned and reactive maintenance
• Flexible approach to working rotating days and nights

Shift Pattern

The role is working on a 4 on 3 off shift pattern, rotating between days and nights.
