The opportunity
As a Quality Engineer, you’ll act as a key figure in maintaining and improving quality systems within a regulated manufacturing environment. You’ll work closely with operations, engineering, and technical teams to resolve issues, enhance processes, and ensure products consistently meet required standards.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking ownership of quality investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing effective CAPA solutions
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to assess failures and introduce long-term corrective measures
- Acting as the main contact for manufacturing quality concerns and non-conformances
- Liaising with suppliers and customers to resolve quality-related challenges
- Driving continuous improvement using methodologies such as Six Sigma, SPC, 5S, PFMEA, and process mapping
- Strengthening quality assurance processes to improve consistency and efficiency
- Supporting teams with root cause analysis and corrective action planning
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and quality systems
- Contributing to audits, product reviews, and non-conformance investigations
- Creating and improving documentation including procedures and work instructions
- Supporting training initiatives to enhance quality awareness across teams
- Providing clear updates on project progress, risks, and performance metrics
What you’ll need
- Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- At least 5 years’ experience in a quality-focused role within a regulated manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of quality systems including CAPA, audits, validation, and change control
- Understanding of ISO standards and regulatory frameworks within manufacturing
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement tools (certification beneficial)
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to solve complex problems
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
