As a MIG Production Welder, you will be responsible for welding production components to the highest quality standards. You will work from engineering drawings and technical specifications to complete assembly and welding tasks efficiently and accurately. Maintaining consistent quality, following health and safety regulations, and meeting production deadlines will be key to your success in this role. This role will allow you to develop your welding skills and gain exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes.
The main responsibilities of the MIG Production Welder include: - Performing MIG welding on production components according to specifications and drawings. - Inspecting welded components for quality and accuracy. - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety policies. - Collaborating with production team members to meet daily targets and deadlines. - Assisting with general fabrication and assembly duties when required. - Reporting any equipment or production issues promptly to supervisors. - Ensuring compliance with company standards, processes, and procedures at all times.
To be considered for this MIG Production Welder role, candidates should possess the following: - Proven experience as a MIG Welder in a production or manufacturing environment. - Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and technical specifications. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. - Knowledge of welding safety procedures and best practices. - Physical stamina and dexterity for repetitive welding tasks. - Experience in production, fabrication, or assembly roles is highly desirable.
This is a day shift role paying between £14.00 and £15.00 per hour, depending on experience. The position provides long-term stability, with the potential to secure a permanent role following a successful temporary period.
