Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting an experienced Tablet Repair Engineer for a modern electronics company based in Telford.
This is an ongoing, long-term opportunity for someone with proven experience repairing tablets from leading manufacturers, including Apple iPad and Samsung devices.
You will diagnose faults, complete repairs and test finished devices to ensure they meet the quality standards required for insurance repairs. Accuracy, attention to detail and previous tablet repair experience are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspecting tablets and identifying cosmetic and hardware faults
- Diagnosing damaged or defective components
- Repairing Apple iPad, Samsung and other leading tablet brands
- Replacing screens, batteries, charging ports and internal components
- Disassembling and reassembling tablets safely and accurately
- Completing repairs to the required insurance and quality standards
- Testing repaired devices to confirm they are fully operational
- Checking the cosmetic condition and quality of completed repairs
- Recording faults, repairs and replacement parts accurately
- Following company repair procedures and data-security requirements
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workstation
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous professional experience repairing tablets is essential
- Experience working with major brands such as Apple iPad and Samsung
- Ability to diagnose hardware and component faults accurately
- Experience replacing screens, batteries and other tablet components
- Confidence using specialist repair tools and equipment
- Understanding of professional repair and quality-control procedures
- Excellent attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
- Good manual dexterity and the ability to handle delicate components
- Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a technical team
