CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer – Are you an experienced CNC Programmer looking for a stable, days-based role with an early Friday finish and competitive pay? As a CNC Programmer, you’ll be joining a well-established engineering business where your skills in programming, setting, and operating will be highly valued from day one.

Pay & Benefits:

• £15.00 to £18.50 per hour (DOE)
• Day shifts only
• Early finish on Fridays
• Stable, long-term opportunity

Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 4:15pm
• Friday: 8:00am – 3:30pm

The Role:

As a CNC Programmer, you will take full responsibility for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery to produce precision-engineered components. You’ll be working on FANUC-controlled twin spindle machines, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Program CNC machines using FANUC controls
• Set and operate twin spindle CNC machines
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications
• Ensure components are manufactured to tight tolerances
• Carry out tool changes and offsets
• Monitor machine performance and quality output
• Work collaboratively with production and quality teams

Requirements:

• Fully experienced CNC Programmer
• Proven experience programming, setting, and operating CNC machines
• Strong experience with FANUC control systems
• Experience working with twin spindle machines is essential
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
