Are you reliable, hard-working and available to start straight away? As a General Operative you will be part of a busy production and assembly team where attention to detail, good attendance and a positive attitude matter. This role is also advertised under alternative titles such as Assembly Operative and Production Operative.

General Operative responsibilities include:

• Performing general assembly and production line duties to meet daily targets.
• Quality checking finished goods and reporting any defects.
• Packing, labelling and preparing products for dispatch.
• Following work instructions, drawings and standard operating procedures.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work area and complying with health & safety rules.
• Working as part of a team and supporting colleagues to meet shift objectives.

Required qualifications & certifications

• Right to work in the UK — applicants must be able to provide ID and eligibility documents.
• No formal qualifications required, but basic literacy and numeracy are expected.
• Previous production/assembly experience is preferred but not essential.
• Basic Health & Safety awareness (training can be provided on site where required).

Shift details & location

Hours: Days — 7:30am start. Exact finish time will be confirmed at interview/booking.
Location: Brownhills (full address provided to shortlisted candidates).
