The Role

As a Sheet Metal Fabricator, you will be responsible for producing high-quality metal components from sheet steel while working from detailed engineering drawings.

You’ll play an important role within the fabrication team, ensuring all work is completed accurately and to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Marking out sheet steel ready for fabrication
• Cutting, forming, and shaping metal
• Welding sheet steel components
• Producing bespoke metal fabrications
• Carrying out general fabrication and workshop duties
• Maintaining high standards of safety and workmanship

Skills & Experience Required

To succeed in this Sheet Metal Fabricator position, you should have:

• Previous experience working as a Sheet Metal Fabricator, Metal Fabricator, or Welder Fabricator
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Experience working with sheet steel
• Strong skills in marking out, cutting, and welding
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• Day shift
• 7:30am start
• Overtime available
