Power Press Setter / Tool Setter – Aldridge
Location: Aldridge, WS9
Pay: Competitive hourly rate – negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Permanent, full-time position
Hours: Monday to Friday, daytime shifts
Bespoke Career Solutions Ltd are recruiting for an experienced Power Press Setter / Tool Setter to join a long-established precision engineering business based in Aldridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to work within a supportive and stable local manufacturer specialising in high-quality presswork and tooling.
The Role:
- Setting, adjusting, and operating a variety of presses including mechanical, hydraulic, fly, and double-action machines
- Fitting and aligning tooling and dies to ensure production accuracy
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications
- Carrying out quality checks and ensuring components meet required standards
- Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
- Working safely and efficiently as part of a skilled production team
What we’re looking for:
- Previous experience as a Power Press Setter, Tool Setter, or Press Operator
- Knowledge of both mechanical and hydraulic press machinery
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
- ROSPA or equivalent press-safety certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
- Reliable, proactive, and quality-focused approach to work
